BEGINNERS: This course will cover the basics of Classical Drawing with pencil, composition, perspective, and color. The student will work on still life exercises. The pre-planning of a painting either in Oils, Acrylics, Watercolor or Pastels will be covered. A sketch book, set of drawing pencils, kneaded eraser and a drawing cloth are all that is required to begin.

INTERMEDIATES: Students will choose what medium they wish to work in. Classical Drawing at a higher level will be covered. composition, perspective, color theory, application and creativity will be in the spotlight. Proper equipment for whichever medium you choose will be discussed at great length. Working from real life situations and learning how to draw or paint from photographs will be covered. The student may select Portraiture, Still Life, Landscapes. You may also choose realism, abstract, impressionism etc.

ADVANCED: students wishing to become professional Artists can plan a program in various fields. Portfolio preparation for University or Art Colleges will be planned and executed. Those wishing to advance their present skill level in a certain medium, learn a new medium , prepare for a position, or publish are welcome. The demands are high and the work is hard.
