Ever since I was a little girl I have always had an affinity for art. I remember I used to sketch what I wanted to look like, and I would sketch all of the animals, pets and houses. The beginning of highschool is when I started to draw regularly. My need to impress my fancy new art teacher, mixed with the rediscovery of my passion for art, I really started to grow as an artist. I enjoy doing watercolour and acrylic paintings, and mixed media pieces. My style has a mix of semi realism (realism) and is sometimes heavily inspired by Tamara de Lempicka opera, Emily Carr and the iconic Bob Ross; including some more modern artists. I love anatomy, organic shapes and bright colours. Everything weird intrigues me!
Art is an outlet for the part of me I don’t know how else to articulate. As you can see, my pieces often differ depending on what’s going on in my head or my life; sometimes it’s bright pastel, other times its complex and realistic, or just even a simple portrait. I aspire to be great.
