Dates

The referral campaign runs Dec 1 through Jan 12. Cut-off date: Jan 12.
The Bring-A-Friend Class Dates are the last two weeks of January, 2026:
Jan 19 through Jan 31. We will have additional teachers on site then for the increase in students.

Prizes

Grand Prize: $100 Deluxe Art Kit:
The 90 piece Mixed Media Studio Art Set with Adjustable Easel is awarded to the student who refers the most friends who come to an art class in late January. Winner will be announced February 2.

Program Participant Prize Draw: $56 Drawing Set:
The 53 piece Drawing Art Set with Portable Case is awarded to the referring participant whose name is drawn from “the jar” on Jan 31. For every friend that attends art class, the referrer name goes in “the jar” again, so if a student refers 10 friends who come to class in January, that student gets 10 entries for the prize draw. Draw on Feb 2.

Referrer Prize:
EVERY student who refers a friend that comes to art class gets one acrylic paint marker.

Attendee/Referred Friend Prize:
Every referred friend that registers gets to come to art class for only $5! The card given has a QR code to scan (or web address) where the sign-up page is and selection of dates to attend from Jan 19th through 31st.

The 56 piece Mixed Media Art Set including Portable Case with Built-in Easel is awarded to the referred friend whose name is drawn from this prize jar on Feb 2. Every referred friend who attends art class gets their name entered into the draw to win, one entry each.

How it Works

In class, our teachers are giving our current students Bring A Friend cards they can take from class if they want to participate.

These cards are numbered and count for the referred friend prize draw entry, so please value each one.

  1. GIVE A CARD We ask students to write their name on the top line of the card and:

    1. of a friend they could invite and would like to tell.

    2. Consider when to invite the friend.

    3. Tell them about art class for only $5 and give them a card.

  2. GET A CARD Referred friends can:

    1. Write their name and contact on the 2nd and 3rd lines of the card.

    2. Either scan the QR code or go to theartschool.com to find the simple sign-up page

    3. Enter info and choose date to come to class between Jan 19 and 31.

  3. Once the referred friend signs up, the referring students get their acrylic paint marker.

  4. The contest is tracked weekly with the top four referrers listed in order on our Reception TV Slide Show.

  5. Registration closes on Jan 12 for the Bring A Friend campaign.

  6. Referred friends come out to enjoy art class with us from Jan 19 to 31 on the date they registered for.

  7. On Feb 2, we will draw the names for the winners of the Drawing Art Set and Mixed Media Art Set and notify them. We will announce the winner of the Grand Prize.

So, our current students will receive an acrylic marker for each successful referral, as well as an entry into a prize draw for the Drawing Set.
Referred friends will receive an art class for $5 as well as an entry into a prize draw for the Mixed Media Set.
The student who brings the most friends to art class will receive the Deluxe Art Kit.

We hope to get many more students knowing about what we offer and coming to develop their art skills as they join our community of creatives. Every contribution helps us keep our mission going.
